Digital Print Prices Below!
How to Order Prints From Your Computer
We have several ways to place an order for prints online from
your computer.
You may attach files to an email, a quick and familiar method if you have
just a few files to send and they do not exceed 20mb in size.
You may use our partner site, LIFEPICS, by clicking on the link below. There
you'll find options for creating an account, uploading pictures to share, print
or make gift items, or just make a fast express order.
Another way to use the internet to transfer large files or a large quantity
of files (like a wedding or holiday shoot) is to use ftp, file transfer
protocol. It's just like moving files around your own computer except you're
connecting directly to our server, once you've logged in. See number 2 below and
call us to get started.
1. Email attached files via our DSL connection to
tfiphoto@verizon.net.
Please note file limitations as follows;

Maximum 20mb per attachment in your email. We suggest you prepare your files for printing, rather than just send what
your camera captures. This is because newer high resolution cameras capture way
more pixels than you need for 4x6 or 5x7 prints, and also because digital
cameras make a photo in a different shape than 35mm film. *
2. Via ftp upload: Windows users; you may use file transfer protocol to upload large files
or a large quantity of files directly to a folder you can create within our ftp
site. In your url address bar, type
ftp.fatcow.com
and click on "go". You'll
be able to transfer files directly from your computer to our server. Please
call us first for the current password and user name to log in to the page.
Send us a confirming email to alert us to the transfer with your instructions.
Apple users must use an ftp client software like Fetch.
* The result is you can lose the top and bottom of your
picture when a 4x6 is made. Here's what to do;
Open the photo in your viewing software and change the size to 250 dpi at
4x6 or 4x5 if you don't want to crop anything. (Crop the photo into a 4x6
proportion if desired)

Save the new file as a .jpeg or .tif and it's ready to send to us, efficiently
for you and with the quality and cropping you desire.

Include a note in your email with quantities, sizes and your choice of glossy or
matte paper, borders or borderless.

And give us a call to let us know your prints are on their way! We'll tell you
when you can pick them up or you can ask us to ship them, billed at cost.
